Working one-on-one with Benji
Your initial visit will look a lot like an interview: you'll discuss your unique health goals and concerns, your health history, symptom presentation, medical diagnoses, and recent lab work.
Some patients worry they are talking too much, or going off on a tangent - but that is a good thing! The goal of this intake visit is to gather as much information as possible to begin painting a complete picture of you. And everything is relevant.
You may take a look at your routine to better cover various diet and lifestyle factors. If this sounds intimidating, that is totally understandable. It is not always easy to discuss these intimate details with someone. Just remember that Benji is not here to judge or shame you for your lifestyle choices. He is here to work alongside you and help you create positive change that’s convenient, practical, and enjoyable.
Benji holds a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University.
He is a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American Nutrition Association, and a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist by the state of Illinois.
I am so grateful for Benji Rasky and the work we have done together! He is knowledgeable, patient, and genuine. I have never worked with a professional that listens and cares as much as he does. I came to Benji with frustrations with food, undiagnosed pain and discomfort in my gut, and fear that I wouldn’t find a health coach that would truly care to look at the “big picture” of my health. Through exploration of my stress, sleep, and nutrition habits, a productive elimination diet, full health panels, and intuitive/mindful eating counseling in a safe environment, I have experienced so much progress! I am finally feeling more like myself, living with way less discomfort, building confidence in my personal nutrition, and onto focusing on more extensive health and fitness goals! Health is a journey, take Benji along with you! Thank you, Benji!
